Those J-boats plastic hatch rails always wind up breaking - and splintering, and they look horrible. To combat this - Kablooey has designed an all Anodized Aluminum Hatch rail that will NEVER wear out! These are made to last the life of your boat - since replacing them should only be done once!

Replacement is also SO easy! They don’t even screw in - simply remove your spray hood, take out the existing screws - and remove your plastic rails. Then - fill the screw holes with caulk (we like 3M 5200 for it’s permanence!) - lay a bead in the corner of the fiberglass decking - set the hatch rail in place, then slide in the hatch to hold everything square. Once it sets up - you are good to go! Guaranteed for life.
